Safety lock is for avoiding unintentional changes in Thermostat/Switch settings from local User Interface.
It is not possible to make changes to settings from local User Interface when safety lock is on.
When safety lock is on and user touches the display, the up and down arrows will blink 3 times. This is how user will know that safety lock is on.
