What kind of regulation type may I choose from DEVIweb™?

The user can choose three types of regulation:

  • Room
  • Floor (you need to have a floor sensor installed)

Floor and Room (you need to have a floor sensor installed)

Can someone please explain a little more as the Instructions coming with this equipment is lacking almost all information:

When Using Floor+Room sensor, how is this actually working? Is the temperature controlled by the room sensor? If so, what is then the function of the floor sensor?

When operating with Floor sensor mode only, is the actual room temperature shown in the app display the room temperature or the floor temperature?

It would be very helpful to understand what is shown, how the priorities for control are working etc.

    Hi Tor,
the Floor+Room regulates according to the Room temperature whilst ensuring that in scenarios where the room has a high heat loss that the floor will not overheat (more or less a safety precaution) additionally with this room+floor control type it is possible to set a minimum floor temperature for the comfort feeling of a nice warm floor.

in the case that floor mode is chosen the device displays the floor temperature

hope this answers the questions you had ,

    wish you a nice day

Thank you for the clarification of Floor+Room control.

A supplementary question about Floor control: I assume that when I set the temperature, it is also the floor temperature that I am setting? I have also noticed that in Floor only mode, when I go to More Information, the floor temperature and the room temperature is identical. This must be wrong? How can I display the room temperature on my phone when using Floor control only?

    Hi Tor,

yes the temperature is the "chosen" type , eg. room+floor = room temp
    Floor = Floor temp.

as the floor temperature control type renders the room temperature invalid the parameter from the floor is duplicated into this , so no this is not correct temperature.

displaying the room temperature whilst having floor control chosen is unfortunately not possible

Nother follow-up question: In which situations is minimum floor temperature applicable? Will the minimum floor temperature regulation work in Away mode, Manual mode and Schedule mode or only some of these?

This may explain the situation that I turned one bathroom with floor regulation into manual more than 24 hours ago and lowered temperature, but display is showing exactly the same temperature as before (it has stayed constant at 18.2 even 24 hours after setting it to10 whilst the minimum temperature is set to 23). I am unable to understand this!

Minimum Floor temperature is appliable when in "home periods" , for comfort purposes
